Article Marketing - Secrets to Success

1) Ability to type fast. - This is your fundamentals. If you can't type fast, you can't produce content quick enough. Of course, you can always outsource, but that's going to cost money upfront.

2) Ability to generate ideas quickly. - Article marketing is not just about keyword generation. Even with a big list of juicy keywords, you will still get stuck with your writing if you can't think of ideas to write about. Content is about expression of ideas. So make it a habit to jot down all the ideas that come to mind. Not all will be good, but having something to build upon is always better than having nothing to work on.

3) Know how the search engines work. - In order to generate traffic for the long term, you need to structure your articles in such a way that they are search engine friendly. This will increase the chances of the content ranking well in the search engines. Therefore, it's important that you have a good idea of how the search engines work. If you don't, I suggest investing in a good SEO or article marketing course. That will shorten the learning curve.

4) Sheer grit and determination. - Some marketers give up way too easily. They write 5 to 10 articles, and they throw in the towel. You need to be determined and keep generating content daily. Success may be just round the corner.
